Meet the talented cast that brought Lover's Leap to life.

Nuri L. Muhammad
Maya
"Take a photo of something you love"
Nuri Muhammad is an actor, singer, and voice over artist based in Philadelphia. This is Nuri's second short film produced by her alma mater Temple University. Her recent projects include You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Cross Culture Christian Theater), The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time (Old Academy Players) and Sister Act (Willow Manor Players). Nuri is also credited in the feature films Access, streaming now on Tubi, and Alias, set to release this year. Nuri has been honored to bring Maya to life, and explore her dynamic with Anne, as she reevaluates her life and the path she wants to take moving forward . Nuri is forever grateful to her family and friends, for the love and support they share each and every day. She is also thankful for the amazing cast and crew that built the Lover’s Leap team. They truly made this a remarkable experience, and she couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to work with. Without them, she would have never had the opportunity to tell this amazing story, and she can’t wait to see it all unfold.
Michelle M. Charles
Anne
Michelle M. Charles is an active member of Playhouse West Philadelphia where she has been studying the Meisner Technique with prominent acting coach and trainer, Tony Savant, since 2024.
A native of Philadelphia, Michelle returned to acting after spending 16 years living as an expat in Germany from where she taught Business English throughout Europe and the globe. Prior to her adventures abroad, Michelle acted in films, television and video projects in both the Northeastern part of the United States, as well as in Hollywood.
Since her return, she has appeared in numerous short film projects including by, Poe Productions, Vision Valentin Productions, Brooks Institute of Photography, L.A., Columbia College, L.A., Lotus Blossom Productions and All Things Productions LLC (of which, the horror/suspense short, “With/In”, in which Michelle co-starred, was a selection screened at five film festivals).
Although Michelle prefers to primarily focus on building a career in film, television and video production, she considers the stage a true training ground for an actor’s development. To that end, she made her theatrical debut in 2025 with The Old Academy Players of East Falls in Philadelphia in their staging of the award-winning novel (written by Mark Haddon), masterfully adapted into a play by Simon Stephens, “The Curious Incident of the Dog In The Night Time”, in which Michelle played the role of “Voice 1” with an enviable Swindon accent.
Still currently adjusting to life back in the States, Michelle balances her time outside of acting between the upkeep of her new home (originally built in 1930), optimizing her physical fitness, mental wellness and overall well-being, and offering artistic support in the form of producing/co-producing, directing and providing acting coaching to student film projects based in and around the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania
